Shipping and Handling Policy

At Fashion Store, we deliver to all postal addresses around the globe, including India, at minimal cost. Please note that courier companies do not deliver to P.O. Box addresses, so provide a full street address with pin code/zip code.

For international shipments, the courier company may leave the parcel at the door if no one is available to receive it. Our courier agents cannot provide a sign confirmation of delivery in such cases. To avoid disputes, ensure someone is available to receive the package upon delivery.

Deliveries are not made on Saturdays and Sundays in countries with a 5-day work culture. Due to regulatory and operational restrictions, we are unable to offer Cash On Delivery payment methods in certain regions.

Our efforts are to ship each item in your order within 7 to 10 days and up to 40 to 50 days for customized products from the order confirmation date.

Dispatch Confirmation Email

For alteration requirements, our professional tailors will take measurements via video call. If minor alterations are needed after receiving the order, you will need to handle them on your end. Before dispatching your order, we will upload product images with all details in your “My Account” under video shopping orders. If we do not receive email confirmation within 24 hours after sending the dispatch email, we will proceed with shipping your order.

Calculating Shipping Cost

Shipping costs are not included in each item’s price. We have fair and transparent shipping rates. International shipping and handling rates are based on the size of your order. Shipping rates are calculated per kilogram of the product. To match the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next 500 grams.

Shipments

Be aware that shipments to hotels, colleges, schools, and hostels are at the customer’s risk. If the package is not accepted or is refused for any reason, Fashion Store will not issue a refund or credit and will not attempt re-shipment of the same order.

The courier company will attempt to deliver the parcel twice for international shipments. After that, the customer will need to pick up the parcel from the nearest courier office, and the charges will be borne by the customer. Additional attempts by courier companies for delivery will also incur rescheduling charges payable by the customer.

Transit Risk

Fashion Store ships all parcels as fully insured at no extra cost to customers. If the courier company fails to deliver, the customer will not suffer any loss. Transit risk is ours, but we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages or any damages after the package is left at the customer’s address by the courier agency.

If a shipment is lost in transit, we wait for 15 working days before confirming with the customer. We will then reprocess or reship the order, depending on product availability.

Tracking Your Order

As soon as the product is dispatched, we will email you regarding the shipment. The email will contain the tracking number, courier company’s website details, and the expected delivery date. You can also check the status of your order on our order status page by logging into your account.

Address Change Requests

Once an order is registered, you can request an address change within 24 hours of placing the order. Send your shipping address alteration request to our customer care email, and we will make the necessary changes.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Some courier companies charge a penalty for incorrect shipping addresses where the address and zip code do not match. The customer will bear the cost of any such penalties and/or fees. Ensure your shipping address is correct to avoid these charges.

All products are first polythene packed and taped with our tag before being handed over to the courier service. The time to ship for each product is mentioned in the product description. These are indicative values, and products may be shipped earlier or later based on availability and other factors.

Possible Delays

If there is a delay in shipping due to an item being out of stock or an unusual delay in filling an order, we will notify you by email. No compensation will be provided for such delays. Delivery dates are approximate, and we are not liable for any delay in delivering your order or any part of it. We may deliver your order in separate parts and offer a credit note for the unfulfilled part of the order if necessary.

Natural calamities like snowfall, floods, earthquakes, and tsunamis may also cause delivery delays.

VAT & Customs Duties

VAT, custom taxes, and import duties are not within our control. These vary according to the rules of different countries and must be paid directly by the buyer. They are not included in our ordering process but may be charged to you by your country’s government. International customers are responsible for any customs or duty fees levied by their country. Additional service charges by the courier company may also apply.
